Step 3.  Mold the eggs.

Make sure the plastic Easter eggs are clean.  Spray them with a non-stick spray.  Give your hand a light coating, too.  Now press the Rice Krispys into the eggs.  Use your thumb or a spoon to make a small hollow in the center of each egg.

You should be able to make 16-20 eggs.  It depends a bit on the size of the plastic eggs.  If you don't have that many plastic eggs, just fill the ones you have, stuff and remove the eggs, and re-use the molds.

Step 6.  Take the egg out of the mold.

Pull the plastic egg off the Krispy Treat egg.  It helps if you twist while you pull.  You can reshape the Krispy Treat egg a little bit if it gets mishapen while you remove the mold.

Decorated eggs have long been Easter traditions.  However, boiling, dying, and painting eggs can be a long process if you want to make a lot of eggs.  Plus, you then have lots of boiled eggs to eat.  Plastic eggs aren't as beautiful as real eggs, but they are quick, easy, and more practical for egg hunts.
